Who I am

A photographer for joy and whimsy.

My name is Shelby, and I am a photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri. I have been photographing people, events, and more for over 10 years, and I delight in making art. More than anything, I want to make magic.

I am nonbinary, my pronouns are they/them, and I want to provide everyone, but especially folks in the LGBTQ+ community, with a comfortable and loving experience when they need photography services.

What I do



My goal in every portrait session is to capture a moment of genuine joy or connection, how you breathe life into the world with just your existence.

Portrait photography is a unique form of self-expression in that I get to collaborate with you to make art of you. I have the tools, but you're bringing the media, and together we get to create something new.

Whether it's in fancy outfits, elaborate makeup, or just bare-faced in the sun, the art we create together will be unique simply by being you.

I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay… small acts of kindness and love.
